Alko,
it happens that Primavera understands MSPs start and finish (scheduled) dates as constraints
have you checked the constraints in the activity detail form?
Alexandre
Have you tried changing the remaining and original durations?
I know F9 but even after F9 no change
Thanks Alexandre for your advice,
I am using MSP 2007. I just saved to MSP 2003 and then imported to P6 (through XML) since my P6 show only XML and MPX format in the importing menu. But the result still the same.
Thanks
Tandyo
I have imported MSP plan to P6 successfully, I have made activities task dependant and duration type fixed unit/time. there are no assigned resources. When I change duration the dates dont change. Anybody got suggestions?

Tandyo,
What is going on here is that there is a requirement for MSP 2003 and P6 to be loaded on the same drive together. They look for a valid license file before all of the import options are available.
If you are using a standalone copy of P6 then you must load MSP 2003 onto your machine so that all the MSP import options are available.
If you are using P6 over a citrix network then you must load MSP2003 on all servers in the citrix farm.
It took my IT department 8 months to beleive me that 2 software applications need to look at each other to validate their licenses.
Good luck and I hope Ive explained the solution correctly.
Andy
Tandyo,
what release of MSP are you using?
P6 cannot import MSP 2007 files, it only understands 2003 and older
You just have to select MS Project option in the Import window
