In the P3 help you can find the command add charachter in the left hand side of the activity ID

Likaa,

I would suggest that you go to EDIT then SELECT ALL.

Then go to TOOLS, FRAGNET, STORE NET. Carry out the instructions and you then have a copy of your project.



The next thing to do is very important, go to ORGANISE, make sure that GROUP BY is clear. That there is nothing displayed.



Press ORGANISE NOW, This should show you an unorganised project. Then go to your last ID Number and highlight it.



Return to TOOLS, FRAGNET, Select your named FRAGNET, RETRIVE, RENAME ACTIVITIES, I suggest you try AUTO-INCREMENT. Put in your base number and change increment to 10. Press OK this will then give you a renumbered copy of your project. NOTE WELL IT IS ADVISABLE TO GO BACK TO ORGANISE AND CHECK THAT EVERY THING HAS RETURNED TO NORMAL.If it is what you whant delete your original activities.

Thanks for all & Happy new year, i tried to change all column of ID try to export & Change when import the file its not work,if i use the global change i want to insert anew siral No. (Prefix or post in Global change) any body cane tell me how

Another simple way is to use global change



You can add activity prefix or post fix or re numbering

U can also creat new project setting defoults u want for activity id. Open both, copy and paste all activities.

you can use export/import option to do it fast in excel or use global change to choose the required characters for all activities before that choose the Exclusive option while you open the schedule if required.

Hi, Likaa,



while opening the schedule, tick "Exclusive" checkbox. This will make the Activity ID column active for changing the data.
