SDK, API or possibly XER?
P3 have a tool called xerFileParser&Builder.xls that may be of use.

Yes, that is an option, however, it still doesnt allow us to filter out items which do not contain any notebook record.
Another way how to document delays or comments to particullar activities would be using issues. Or how do you guys document your comments for delays?
U can assign Notebooks in Gantt Chart as a bar label.

I know the report builder. However, my problem is not being able to filter only for activities which do contain any notebook record. The notebook is not an option for filtering nor for displaying it in a column. All I was able to do by the report builder was to show all activities with their notebook records, but I was not able to filter out activities which in fact do not contain any notebook record. The result is a long report with very little to say :-)

I can see your problem of not able to filter notebook items.
In order to produce a useful report that contain all the notebook you can utilise the report builder (within P3e) Or using SDK to produce an custom reports.
