Dear,

Of cause Procurement is part claim or Claim is part of Procurement.

When there is Procurement then there will be claim !!! if there is Procurement without claim , we called it " CHARITY "

CHEERS ..

Hi to all,

Claim is universal. It will enter the area of procurement if evidence warrant the inclusion.

for example in building construction, the process of procurement of HVAC was so advance with 50% of major parts manufactured, then suddenly, an instruction was initiated to revised the whole design of HVAC that influence what was previously the basis in HVAC.

so a claim can be initiated.

Cheers,

Hi,

Thanks Alex, Maybe I didn’t read "carefully"

That is exactly what I mean, that it is not "ONLY" related to Procurement.

It could be other resaons too

BUT procurement play a part too. If set up properly and taken account of any possible RISKs, claim situation can be reduce or even eliminated.
Am I wrong?

During operation or post "order" 101 things can contribute to claim too, wrong??

I think if you read carefully the original question said "ONLY", thats the key work.

Part of Claim is related to Procurement but not all.

Think that your question is about Shahzad Munawar’s coment.

Hi,

Why there is no link between Claim & procurement subject?

Procurement or logistic if sourced & foresight to eliminate problem could reduce or even eliminate claim?

What do you think?

I thought in Management, it is about control/manage of all.

Absolutely there is no link between the Claim and Procurement subjects - both are entirely different.
