Niek makes an excellent and fundamental point. An interface between SAP and Primavera Enterprise can be no more an "out of the box" solution than SAP or Primavera is. Our solution is an "enabling toolbox" - every client requires a different solution. The challenge is not the technology, but the design work that Niek has outlined.
Marcio,
The hard part when connecting SAP and Primavera is not so much the technical interface. Several companies (claim to) have "out-of-the-box" solutions for that.
Although the above can bring quite a few challenges, the real issues are around logical and organisational alignment between these two systems. In other words: where are you going to what? which systems contains the master data? where do we initiate data (a project for instance), how do we align the financial structure and the WBS, etc. etc.
Hope this helps,
Niek.
We have one we wrote too, its called LinkSync
Thank u all for the response.
Regards.
