Using Primavera Chart Design

Interesting topic! My software company, DecisionEdge, licenses the "Primavera Charts" and "Primavera Chart Design" software to Primavera. It’s nice to see your interest in our tools.

I use "DecisionEdge Designer" almost every day to create new charts for users (I created some new charts for Primavera 5.0 earlier today, for example). As such, I am probably in the best position to answer questions about using this software.

I invite you to visit the DecisionEdge website, which has recorded demonstrations, evaluation downloads, and other materials to help you create the charts (and reports) you need out of Primavera (and Microsoft Project).

There’s information on our website about getting support or please contact me directly at [email protected] (just mention you saw my note here at planningplanet.com). I will try to help you get the graphics and reports you need out of Primavera (and MSP).

Regards, John Garay, DecisionEdge, Inc.

I have used chart design,it is not very user friendly, you need to learn how to write scripts to get data out of the database, quite difficult.

Best method is to use the 40 plus templates supplied with the application and customise them.
