any idea if it is fixed in P6.1

PS: it sounds trivial, but for me it is a showstopper bug

It is learnt that, No Code can not be eliminated, if code values are not given to some activities. Cheers. Amar.

No doubt Excel is "excellent" and user friendly. For me, import / export is also a time consuming task. I am searching for a way in V5 itself. HTH, Amar.

Try Exporting to Excel. There you can group, filter or sort and use copy and paste.

That is true Sen, Instead of ALT+e+i of P3, it is ALT+e+w to fill cells for copy and paste. If you come across any other method for this problem, please let me know. Cheers, Amar.

Sorry, I just realize you’re talking about Activity Codes.

I guess if is really required to input a data (even if a dummy) then just utilize the copy and paste function in inputting the dummy codes.

At least, the inputting work could be shortened or lessened.

Regards.

Sen

Yeah, Normally I provide L3 code with Description "." (Single Dot) and Provide font colour and back ground colour same while grouping. However this is an extra thing to be done.

Software has to just represent the data. Here it is exceeding the requirement!

I think you can’t provide an Activity Name having no Activity ID --- just like in P3. Why not create a dummy ID, if you haven’t finalize the ID for this activity?
