Position: Assitant Planning Engineer

Role:

-Schedules, plans and oversees the entire program of work

-Plans, organizes, and coordinates planning activities

-Selects the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope

-Inputs the work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project

·         Reviews Contractor’s planning and progress report submittals, prepares letters to the Contractor and addresses accuracy and quality of the submissions. 

·         Reviews multiple Contractors’ schedules on the Programme to identify planning coordination issues and any adverse impact on Baseline Schedules, providing advice on efficient work activity sequencing and resequencing. 

·         Prepare Gant Chart, Resource Chart, Resource allocation & Leveling.

·         Finding Critical activities & Critical Path.

·         Project Tracking on daily basis and submit DPR, WPR, and MPR.

·         Liaosining with Sub Contractors and prepared work order & LOI.

·         Prepare the master schedule, area & department L4 schedule.

·         Control the schedule & covering up the delays with catch up schedule.

·         Progress Monitoring & Maintain Baseline schedule.

·         Time to time visit the site to check the progress.

To provide help to the Contractor’s Site planner for day to day planning issues and support the TEA Team in preparation of Forensic Delay analysis and EOT Claims.

·         Visit the site for progress monitoring

·         Review of the Monthly Progress Reports

·         Supervising the revision to the Baseline Program

Pre-contract: Coordinating and preparing appropriate tender and contractual documentation and procedures for various construction projects in the Middle East.

Post-contract:  Providing planning services in implementation of the project, establishing the schedules as outlined in the project conceptual stage. Responsible for timely issue of project planning deliverables & progress reports.

ü  Establishing baselines for projects.

ü  Updating and monitoring the progress.

ü  Preparation of Monthly and Weekly Reports.

ü  Attending project site meetings with Clients and Consultants

Provided assistance and critical support for Civil and Construction Engineering Department includes teaching some engineering labs (engineering graphics, and management software’s). Creative thinking with good communication skills were the major reasons that supported this career objective.

Promoted to the position of Project Control Manager from December - 2011.

• Preparing detailed construction programme and identification of constraints, key
milestones and critical path.
• Preparation of engineering deliverable schedules and Procurement Planning.
