Providing detailed Planning and Project Controls services within the team constructing the £63m Bermondsey Dive Under project for Network Rail .  Possession and pre possession planning, production and updating of lookahead programmes, cost and resource loaded contract/baseline programmes covering the 5 year delivery plan, quantitative risk analysis programmes, in conjunction with project team members who own delivery.  Analysis of data and compilation and production of 4 weekly reports including key issues / dashboard, EV reports, Cost Forecast, Safety and risk management.  S

Project Description

MSP services to BAA for managing 5-year programme of capital works at Heathrow Airport, UK.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead Planner on behalf of BAA for a number of projects within their "Portfolio of Projects" sub-programme.

RESPONSIBILITIES                              

To implement, manage and monitor the planning of project activities across the Utility Services portfolio of projects. Resource monitoring and reporting.

Started work with Filippo Fochi Energia in Italy as a Junior Planner & Cost Controller; power generation, seeing my technical background from the Navy working with steam generators and steam/gas turbines it was a well suited start to my carreer.

These first experiences in the planning world were so good, it created very strong foundations for all the years to come to build upon. We were already doing earned value back then, don't think it's some new concept.

Dear fellow members,

I am currently the Planning Manager at the IHC Merwede Engineering Business. The business specialises in offshore equipment, which includes (but is not limited to) Pipe Lay Equipment, Ploughs, Trenchers, Carousels, and A-Frame lifting equipment.

As part of my role I run a planning team, of which I have five other members, of varying degrees of experience.

New job role currently being defined so this will be updated in the next few months

•        Involve in program management, supporting different project managers handling different projects at the same timeline. Develop the schedule management plan and schedule design for the assigned projects, facilitate the development of master construction schedule.
