L&T-GALFAR Consortium were awarded with Doha South Sewage Treatment Works; Phase 2 Expansion Project undertaken by Employer Public Works Authority (alias ASHGHAL), Govt. of Qatar, to construct a new Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR Plant) to ramp up the combined secondary treatment capacity to 200 MLD (ADWF) from 90 MLD - setting up new Ultrafiltration unit for the 1^st time in the Middle East region in the largest capacity to treat municipal sewage (Project Value USD 200 million)

During this work tenue, main responsibilities and accountabilities were-

·   Studied bid documents; pre-bid site visits and prepared reports illustrating the techno commercial aspects of the bid, framed out technical and commercial clauses that need to be considered for accurate cost estimation, bid risk review presentations

·   Spearheaded the development of integrated tender schedule using Primavera (P3.1/ P6); produced suite of histograms

Equestrian facility comprising race course, hospital, riding school, staff accommodations, etc. spreading over 1.5 sqkm with the project cost USD 450million. Leighton was the main contractor for the Design & Build contract. Key responsibilities on the project are below

The largest hospital facility in Qatar, 528 bed capacity and comprising up to10 floors of three building blocks with overall floor area of 214,000 sqm, cost QAR 2.4 billion. I worked for the clinet, Hamad Medical Corporation, on the project and also provided my services to Health Facility Department on other projects on part time basis. Key responsibilities on the projects are below.

Mr. Sajeet is deputed to Ashghal (Public Works Authority) to the Planning and Cost Control Section (PCC) which forms part of the Engineering Business Department (EBD). PCC supports various PWA department’s in providing technical support to all Ashghal’s programmes and projects in respect of change management, resolving commercial and contractual disputes, forensic delay analysis, assessment and recommendation of Extensions to the Time for Completion and Disruption Claim awards.
