Home Office - I commenced working full time for Bouygues (UK) Ltd on the Home Office project in Westminster, London which was a PFI project. The project consisted of the demolition of the existing tower blocks and the construction of three new integrated office blocks. The project also included the construction of three residential apartment blocks on the same site.
I was working as a tender planner for Ibex Interiors. In my time at Ibex I was producing tender programmes and also monitoring construction programmes on site. The work was predominately tender submissions. I worked on a number of high profile jobs for clients such as Ernest & Young, Allen & Overy, BBC, JPMorgan Chase.
I was working for Structuretone, who specialise in the re-fit / fit outside of the construction industry. During this time I worked on a number of projects in many different departments. I worked as a quantity surveyor on projects such as Harrods, HRO Clements Inn (final accounts) and Level 3 communications. I also worked in the estimating department on tenders for Deloitte & Touche, HRO Victoria Plaza, British Bakeries, Teletext and JP Morgan Chase. In the planning department I worked, in depth, on live jobs and tenders, usually two or more at a time.
I have gained vast experience during my career working initially as an Electrician, then moving on to different positions as Electrical Commissioning Technician, Project Technical Support Officer and finally Project Planning Engineer
