From a background including military projects and the study of Japanese manufacturing techniques, the Founders of Central PM made a difference to Network Rail’s West Coast Route Modernisation programme in 2001.
Since then we have worked relentlessly to improve Programme Management in the Rail and construction industries. Our commitment to planning projects from their inception is reflected in the number of significant projects planned to completion during the early development stages. This early development ensures senior management have the required visibility to make informed decisions and establish the correct team to achieve their goals.
More usually, our experience is called upon later in the projects life as the detailed design and construction phases commence. Again early establishment of good practice and providing visibility of all work streams and permissions/approvals is a priority. Often this is a simple task of converting a bid programme to a working programme or it may be to ensure your contractor does not attempt to take liberties.
