Orbit Multi-Modal Study – Transport Planning, 2001 - 2003 This was a major transport study, the overall aim of which was to develop a long-term management strategy for the M25. Responsibilities included timesheet and hours monitoring, fee and cost monitoring (including resolving disputes with the client), plus input into project planning.

A13 DBFO Thames Gateway (claim) – Highways DBFO, 2003 - 2004 Mark carried out the planning for this difficult project in its closing stages. This extremely challenging role on a project claim included interrogation of earlier versions in P3 of the programme for structures and highways and liaising closely with a claims consultant, client and contractors. Mark also provided historical time and cost breakdowns of staff hours for this Highways Agency project.

M25 Rapid Widening, 2003 - 2004 Mark was responsible for collating and reporting hours and cost data for this project. He also obtained and collated traffic data and junction data from consultants and local authorities which included regular liaison with councils and the Highways Agency. The data formed the basis of a project report.

Lower Lea Valley Underground Power Lines – Tunnels, 2004 - 2005

Project planning for this cable tunnel project which was being developed in support of the London Olympics. Planning included producing five different options for the construction phases of this LDA sponsored work in Primavera 3e/c (P5). This project consists of two 6km tunnels under east London, currently under construction.

CONLOG / TDA – Construction, Defence, 2004 - 2008 Mark became senior planner for Defence Services planning and scheduling and was responsible for a large number of MoD and Home Office projects, from bids through the entire project life from design through procurement, logistics and construction to completion. This included creation of task lists, WBS, logic-linked / closed-network schedules, critical path analysis, delay mitigation and progress updates on all projects plus the development of an overarching department programme.
