In order to consolidate the overall UK and European advertising operations, an integrated database control system was developed to gain immediate access to company and client records and operating criteria.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, duties included developing an integrated database system with DBASE III software, creating a database and report to produce mailings for ten of the groups companies who are based across England. 

This project was the largest semi-submersible floating platform conversion undertaken to date, consisting of circa 2 million direct manhours over an 18 month period.

The Artemis 6000 System contained a database of circa 60,000 items rolling up weekly to network and level 1 reports, and monthly by B of Q items for QS interim valuation reports.  Also set up and utilised were computerised cable schedules, piping spools registers, hydrotest registers and a manhour recording system giving details of contract and additional hours expended on a weekly basis.

In the run-up to privatisation, the Settlement II System was developed by NGC to manage the commercial aspects of the Grid operation.

Based at the construction site on the fabrication, testing and commissioning of four modules totalling 23,000 tonnes and reporting to the Senior Site Planning Engineer, responsibilities were for the development and maintenance of the project construction planning system on the P.C. based Artemis 7000 System.

Duties included the systems development and updating of construction networks and the preparation of schedule analyses and progress reports.

Based on site, for the construction of the largest gas processing plant in Europe, totalling 3.5 million manhours and reporting to the Planning Manager, responsibilities were for the development and maintenance of the design, procurement, construction and commissioning planning system on the P.C. based Artemis 7000.  In addition, quarterly risk analyses on Risk 7000 were performed.

FMC Produces Wellheads and Christmas Trees for the oil and gas industry.  Each project is allocated a dedicated project management team to ensure their orders are on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Contracts Manager duties included developing Artemis 7000 using AAPI Interface to link to FMC's existing computer software for lower level reporting against MS Project schedules, collation of information for schedules and progress reports, updating of schedules on MS Project 95 and 2000 for the client and in-house reporting, creation and updating o

PCMS is a project management/project control consultancy, specialising in the provision of computer based project solutions utilising Microsoft, Primavera and Artemis software. Projects undertaken have included the development of project schedules, progress measurement databases, job-card systems, engineering/construction interface programmes and the integration of non-aligned software products.  

Advising, designing and developing PM solutions to clients business needs using the full IT lifecycle development. This mainly involved Project Management systems but occasionally included Cost Control or Investment Planning and practically all projects used Artemis 9000.
