This project was the largest semi-submersible floating platform conversion undertaken to date, consisting of circa 2 million direct manhours over an 18 month period.

The Artemis 6000 System contained a database of circa 60,000 items rolling up weekly to network and level 1 reports, and monthly by B of Q items for QS interim valuation reports.  Also set up and utilised were computerised cable schedules, piping spools registers, hydrotest registers and a manhour recording system giving details of contract and additional hours expended on a weekly basis.

Based at the construction site, duties included the development and maintenance of an integrated computerised planning, progress measurement and reporting system, performing schedule and resource analysis and producing reports, updating the progress measurement database and producing weekly statistical analysis at five levels of detail, producing discipline reports and maintaining computerised registers of all pipework, cable, electrical and instrumentation device workscope and installation status, preparing detailed cost/budget reports and projections. The role also included liaison with engineering and commercial departments on project control interfaces, and the collation of data and documentation for claims preparation.
