Junior Estimator & Planner preparing Tender Proposals and developing Contract programmes. Scheduling using Microsoft Project on ‘Courtaulds Peboc’ Project, Anglesey.  Assisting the Site Manager on existing contract (Courtaulds Fibres, Tencel SL3 Project, Grimsby).  Responsibilities included; control of materials received on site, compiling estimates for additional works to contract.

Providing Planning service to the Estimating, Fabrication and Construction divisions using Suretrak and P3 software. Preparation of all programme charts at Tender stage and later Contract award level II programmes. Supporting Project Manager for Utilities/Water Tenders and Live projects providing tender programmes and Site based construction programmes from contract award. Assisting site nominated Planning engineer prepare level III and IV programmes in accordance with conditions of contract.

Mechanical, Fabrication and Rigging Planning Engineer for both Repair & Maintenance, and project works as part of an Integrated Engineering Services contract for BP Chemicals at their Saltend – Hull plant. Utilising Primavera P3 and Teroman (CMMS) software linked to Interserve’s Dataease system to plan and monitor works.

Providing provisional Labour and Man-hour estimates for targetable works. Running progress and producing plans for distribution to all area team leaders and performance engineers.

Planning manager providing tender planning packages for enquiry packages. Responsibilities include running of planning services and support to site works.

Planning engineer for Isle of Man CHP project, installation of balance of plant and pipework systems. Planner for Goldeneye Shell UK/FWEL construction of PAR & PAU’s for on-shore natural gas plant, and shipping to St.Fergus Scotland.

Major Projects Planning Manager. Responsible for all planning related issues from tender submission to contract award. Direct management of and provision of support to site based planners on programme development, change management and project risk analysis.

Bp Hull Saltend, Contract shutdown planner. Reporting to the shutdown manager and Bp shutdown team leader. Responsible for the planning and execution of the Acetyls plant 4yr shutdown along side the Lead Engineer. Using Primavera P3 software as the main planning tool to manage estimated work packs by electronic data transfer from a bespoke web-based shutdown estimation package. Developing constructability programmes for plant areas along with resource graphs and ‘S’ curves.

Contract Project Control Engineer working as part of a Project Controls team tasked with the review and compliance checking of a portfolio of NDA nuclear decommissioning projects. Alignment of project scope with cost estimate and project schedule, along with resource analysis and inter-project linking with a site detailed schedule being the main focus of the review strategy.

Programme Management Office (PMO) Contract senior project controller for the World Class Asset Management (WCAM) programme at United Utilities in Warrington. Responsibilities including the development of an integrated programme schedule to enable the successful delivery of nine work streams to the key dates set by OFWAT as part of the price review for 2009. Utilising Prince2 planning methodologies to manage risk and change control processes within the PMO, assessing impact on schedule and reporting back to project managers.

Contract Planning Engineer for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCCM) contract on behalf of Green Energy Technology (GET). The project is to generate electricity by converting segregated solid municipal waste into Syngas through plasma gasification and is to be constructed in Sri Lanka in 2010. Using Primavera P3 for both planning and progress monitoring against a resourced target plan, reporting earned value for individual disciplines against a fully developed work breakdown structure.
