Located within the Infrastructure Improvement Programme team
Planner / Project Planner – P3 and P3e
Excellent understanding of resource control, cost monitoring and control techniques, including earned value.
To forward the ongoing plan of inspecting and renewing track due to GCC (gauge corner cracking)
Coordinating with operations and maintenance to ensure safety and quality of track renewals
Planning and scheduling the track renewal weekly maintenance planned work
Working closely with Rail track’s Maintenance Contractors as main provider of core data
Responsible for collating all project information and developing a plan from scratch. This included projects being tendered for within the rail sector and the management of current projects. Worked on heavy civils projects up to 100million in value including new build bridges, embankment stabilisations, stations and full signal and p.way upgrades. Earth works, embankment stabilisation, platform extensions, bridge work new build and demolition station refurbishment
Developed plans along side the pre-tender team as well as delivering current projects.
Project Coordinator / Planning Engineer based at Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, Shetland Islands contracted to BP
Reporting to the senior project manager - Pipe Inspection Project
Weekly update and distribute (to management, key personnel, BP planner and representatives) offshore construction and onshore engineering plans (6 week, 12 week, 6Q lookaheads, along with the relevant histograms)
Monthly reporting to management (gantt charts / manhour summaries / histograms / productivity figures)
