TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD STATION UPGRADE

A senior project construction planner on the TCRSU project in the Client (LUL) project management team, carrying out evaluation of the methodology and construction programmes of the tenderers. This large complex project includes the station upgrade (works within an operational station), new ticket hall, connecting tunnels and shafts (cut & cover and SCL), highways and utilities diversions, M&E works, enabling and integration works with the PPP and PFI contractors.

Current Role

Within this role I have successfully lead the group of Strategic Planners within BAA for the last 10 months. This is a multi-user, multi-programme environment with a wide variety of stakeholders and work scopes. A primary success factor in my delivery of this role has been to identify and utilise the skills that are present with my team.

Position: Lead Planning Engineer – Invensys Rail (Ex- Westinghouse Ltd).

London Underground Sub Surface Line (SSL) Signalling Immunisation project. The new Bombardier trains require high frequency track circuits to avoid interference. A challenging and highly pressurised environment – very cost sensitive.

Created programme standards and procedures across the Group Risk Project Manager community

Creation and set-up of the IND ID Cards Project Office

Raised the standard of project planning and working practices amongst the Project Managers and Work stream Leaders following the PRINCE2 methodology
