Transport for London (TfL) Planner

Working on TfL’s London Tramlink mode projects as a Programme Planning Engineer, which includes new tram schemes, tram stops and tram refurbishment projects, track renewals and research and development projects. The job also involved Project Control duties such as project reporting, budget forecasting, and risk management along with PMO responsibilities.



•     Developed and maintained rolling resource based support programmes for the new tram schemes; WLT, CTLE, CRT.

Fitzpatrick Contractors Limited Civil Engineer

Responsible for the implementation of various Carriageway Resurfacing and Footway Relay schemes in the London Borough of Hackney since October 2004 as well as the implementation of various Footway Relay schemes in the London Borough of Enfield since October 2005.



Key responsibilities included the following:



•     Final measures of Schemes.

•     Ensuring Specifications and Standards were adhered to.

•     Following up on Health & Safety as well as Environmental issues.

•     Liasing with Clients and the Community.

Site Engineering Surveys (SES) Civil Engineer

Engineer with Site Engineering Surveys (SES) on various sites in and around London for companies such as MACE, WATES and BOVIS.



Started off assisted a number of SES Engineers before joining SES and operated Leica Instruments mostly.



These instruments included Total Stations (EDM) and Dumpy Levels.



Key responsibilities:



Setting out gridlines, service holes, control points, transferred datum levels, doing as-built surveys and topo-surveys.
