Lead/ Forensic Planner, LB Foster, Crossrail New train line running east-west under central London (Elizabeth Line). CMR provided an initial auditon the project controls setup for a Tier 2 subcontractor and then rolled out suggested action plan.Lead Planner managing four planning engineers covering six contracts. Deliverables included:Primavera P6 rollout, contract reviews (NEC 3), forensic delay analysis, tender preparation, costestimate, and resource and contract management.
Project Planner supporting a variety of projects within a specialist Project Controls and Planning consultancy.
Supporting the Programme Controls team and Head of Controls with analysis as required.

My initial brief and goals was to fully develop a harmoniised schedule for onboard signaling systems linked to the Crossrail Programme objectives and develop fully harmonised schedules for signaling at a test track. The schedules to be in sufficient detail as to understand the infaces and be linked as to understand the logic allowing for critical path analysis.
Invited to work on Crossrail as a Consultant, I was asked to perform the task in integrating Design, Procurement & MEP Fit Out. These items were still at tendering logic and it was recognised that this logic no longer demonstrated the true critical path.

I'm currently working for BFK JV on the Crossrail Project as a Cost Planner. As Crossrail strive towards 'World Class', we as the Contractor are expected to produce high quality, accurate information; Where better to get this than from a well led Project Controls Team. Initially I was working on aligning the Costs with Activities in the Schedule so that we could track our progress more effectively with the use of EVM and the Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
