Managing planning department from head office.

Up to 25 projects at a time including a R650 million E&I project for Siemens at Kusile Power station and R110 Million Access control projects for Honeywell at Medupi and Kusile power stations.

Manage and audit site planners and training of new planners in the NIC structure.

Attending contractual meetings with the clients on a monthly basis on sites ranging from Johannesburg, Secunda, Rustenburg, Richards bay, Sasolburg, Ressano Garcia (Mozambique) and Kathu.

• Establishing study schedules (Study, Definitive and Execution phases) with the planning team.
• Liaising with the study team to develop the programme to a point that suits the client needs.
• Resource loading the schedule with the estimate hours and creating the corresponding S-Curves to monitor the progress.
• Updating engineering progress using “CDM” software (same base of EZTrack) and reporting the progress to senior management.

Update accommodation forecast for execution projects based on updates from contractors and camps availability

• Establishing project master schedule (Port – Mine – Rail – Infrastructure) with the planning team.
• Preparing planning & scheduling procedures to be followed (to client and to contractors).
• Developing master schedule to suit the latest approved contracting plan and scope.
• Managing contractor’s schedules and progress.

Validating current project progress and reporting to client accordingly.

I am currently working sinopec international pertroleum service corporation for the construction of raodways and bridges. I am responsible for project control.

Supporting tender process through the creation of highly effective tender programmes from scope of works documentation and meetings with key project personnel

Working on projects from Contract Award through Design, Construction and Post Construction phases including forensic planning and delay analysis
