Project Controls Engineer
Implementation of earned value and quantitative risk management processes. Fine tuning of existing cost sontrol processes. Input into set up of contractual payment schedules.
- Directly responsible for the planning structure of the Project.
- Reviews and Approves baseline schedules for awarded packages.
- Works closely with the Client in establishing short programs for summer target and end of year target.
Project Controls Engineer. Main projects and functions:
CCGT Castellón 4 (850 MW, €350 M): Project Controls Engineer.
BCC Tunisia (T&D, €30 M): Project Controls Engineer based in Tunis.
CCGT Santurtzi (400 MW, €200 M): Owner Cost Control Engineer.
Schedule preparation or Thermal Generation Power Plants proposals.
Jan 2007 – Sep 2009 Project Controls Engineer – Bencov Group Ltd
§ Prepare and update detailed work schedules for some of the project’s critical activities like System Pressure Testing Schedule and Plant Shutdown Piping Tie-In Schedule using the Primavera Project Planner.
§ Monitor, quantify and report the work accomplishments, manpower and expended man-hours in my area of responsibility
§ Quantity take-off for progress reporting and billing purposes
I have experience of the full Project Controls service. Providing a planning role on a Substation replacement project, progressing own schedule and monitoring a contractors schedule.
Aslo have responsibilitiy for maintaing costs within budgeted limits. On a mnothly basis produce reports detailing Year to date BCWP / EAC and forecast BCWP / EAC for the financial year and the lifetime of the project.
