• Advanced understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications.
• Advanced understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring.
• Advanced understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning/programming.
• Advanced understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.

• Monitoring the implementation of central planning department requirements through the site Planning Engineer.
• Defining baseline program & submission of the program for approval of the main contractor, consultant & client.
• Preparing the resource requirement plan such as manpower & materials as per the base plan in discussion with the project team.
• Preparation and submission of company annual plan in coordination with the various departments.
• Defining work measurement steps & monitoring progress against the approved baseline program.
