PLANNING ENGINEER

Contracted to Vinci, this high profile project for Network Rail utilised both Matthew’s experience in the Rail sector and in recent projects for the Building Services division of NGB. A large new-build concourse plus the refurbishment of the existing train shed and operational buildings presented challenging works around a National Heritage site and one of the busiest live rail stations in the UK. Matthew was a key part of the planning team that prepared and managed a large complex programme that included phased blockades and the migration of live communications equipment.

PLANNING ENGINEER

§  Planning & preparation of Level 3 and 3 week look-ahead schedule as per the requirements of client and updating progress on a weekly basis.

§  Planning the day to day activities and ensure it has been accomplished as per the Project Schedule.

§  Submitting the daily progress and monthly progress reports to the higher officials.

Planning Engineer - Responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining programs and schedules for multiple projects. Responsible for producing progress reports and identifying risks to ensure milestones are met and project is delivered on time.
