Lead Planning Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

·         Ensure the development of the project schedule according to the commercial needs.

·         Ensure the implementation of the Planning and Progress Control System required by the contract complexity, riskiness and duration, in compliance with the Project Breakdown Structure, Company Standards and Contract specifications.

      Preparation of Level - 1 Schedule for the tenders & Level – 3 for the awarded projects.

      Preparation & submission of project progress reports to management & client on weekly & monthly basis.

1. January 2012 - present : Lead Planning Engineer - responsible for the schedule baselining, progress tracking, delay analysis, reporting and presentations to top management, and other general functions related to project control. The projects involves mainly are various sub-project components for the Automatic Train Operation of Rio Tinto's (Western Australia) driveless mining trains trasporting Ore from the site to inland ports for shipping overseas.

ü  Develops and maintain the Project Master Schedule, Implement progress monitoring and measurement methodology,Construction of Strategic planning and Economic Analysis;

ü  Critical path analysisand sub-critical, proposals for remedial action; Analysis of interface with other projects, monthly reporting, forecasting and closing progress, S curves;

Pre-site initial baseline production & full live project contract planning works for an 800MW 12 Gas Turbine, 12 OTSG & 2 Steam Turbine power plant construction in the middle east.
