Junior Planning Engineer

PLANNING & SCHEDULING OF PROJECT.(MS PROJECT 2007 & PRIMAVERA P6)

COST CONTROL & MIS REPORTING.

ADDITIONAL ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY :-  SINGLE POINT CONTACT PERSONNEL RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING & CONDUCTING WEEKLY AND MONTHLY MEETINGS AT SITE WITH CLIENT.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR & BILLING ENGINEER FOR RAISING CLIENT & SUB-CONTRACTOR BILLING.

Establish and manage effectively a planning and progress control system in order to support the Project Manager decision-making process and allow him to complete the project according to the internal baselines and in compliance with the contractual dates and requirements. Ensure any deviation from plan is promptly spotted and analyzed, final time impact is  estimated.

Site monitoring and controlling.

Review of progress

Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), Material reconciliation statements, Department bills, Preparation of Daily and monthly progress reports, etc.

     Assisting the Planning Manager in preparation of the Updated Program.

In june 2012 I've been promoted to junior planning engineer in SICIM SpA, our company deals with construction in oil & gas shpere, that is construction of facilities, pipelines, different repair works. We have different projects, so I am very lucky to have experience in various construction field :)   Our main projects are: construction of pipelines, repair of lines, construction of buildings, vessels, some civil & piping/mechanical scopes in operating plant Tengiz, under operation of Chevron company.

Completed my Civil Engineering in 2011, and got lucky enough to work as a junior planner in a Claims project worth (350 million AED) my specific duties were

- assist the senior planner in critical path analysis

- responsible to create disruption events

- creating utility and window analysis to help the Contractor in mini Global Claims

- attended the International Arbitration Course and applied for Associate membership for CIArb result expected in June 2013.
