Junior Planning Engineer, Construction – Cambridgeshire
Junior Planning Engineer is required for a fantastic opportunity based in Cambridgeshire. My client is currently seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to join their team to provide support to the Senior Planners and support to live projects in the region. The Junior Planning Engineer will be given an opportunity to gain exposure to the full life cycle of construction projects from tender stage through to site delivery.
The Junior Planning Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the production of tender programmes including method statements, logistic plans and scaffold schedules. In addition they will also be responsible for progress reporting and short term planning of live site works.
The Junior Planning Engineer will have a construction background and have a good knowledge of construction techniques; candidates with a site management background would be welcome. Also candidates will ideally have knowledge of planning software packages. Asta Powerproject experience would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given for the right candidate. Interested candidates must also hold a UK driving license as the position does entail commuting to various sites in the region.
On offer is a basic salary of £30,000 plus package and the opportunity to gain valuable planning experience within the UK’s construction industry.
