• Project Planner, thermo-solar power plant (Spain): Solaben Logrosán 1, 2, 3 y 6. (May 2011 till now): Supervise and provide technical direction for planning/scheduling activities of contractors, review, and analysis of the schedule and status of contractors during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions. Managing Logistic, Engineering, purshase, construction work and commissioning on site plan.

·         Analysing and controlling of project cash flow, updating cash flow report

·         To identify the root cause of any delay  event and report to project manager with recommended corrective action

·         Using Earned Value Calculations to monitor project status.

·         Worked on Creating a project, WBS, Resource Breakdown structure and adding activities, creating activity codes which helps in displaying particular required data using Grouping, sorting and Filtering.

·         Worked on creating relationships of WBS elements using Activity network diagram and Activity details. In-depth knowledge in understanding and calculating Early, Late dates along with total, free floats.

A strong understanding of construction including the interpretation of fabrication drawings and the ability to convert my appraisals into realistic plans, whilst adopting a robust Work Breakdown Structure. A team player and effective communicator.

Daily tasks have included :

Generation of bespoke multi discipline Primavera P6 Reports as required, highlighting under performance in schedule and strategy.

Position: Planning Engineer with Costain on their nuclear decommissioning framework at Berkeley Power Station. 

The framework objective is to help Magnox put the decommissioned nuclear power station at Berkeley into ‘Care & Maintenance’.  To achieve this they are in the process of extracting all remaining ‘intermediate level waste’ and processing it ready for disposal at a geological disposal facility.  The framework contract is based on the NEC model.  My role as the site planner is fourfold:
