BP Exploration Algeria, Bourarhat Sud Phase 2 exploration & appraisal drilling & frac campaign onshore Algeria. Drilling Team member; reporting to Wells Team Leader.
Responsible for drilling project controls, drilling cost control and drilling cost engineering services on an HP/HT, logistically-challenging exploration/appraisal drilling campaign in the Taza block. Responsible for preparing well cost estimates and for tracking, reporting and forecasting daily well costs/VOWD; also responsible for 'future-proofing' well costs for eventual cost recovery under the PSC and for performing well reconciliations. Member of a small drilling team, reporting to the Drilling Manager.
I lead a team of 5 cost controllers managing all cost control aspects of a young and fast-growing regional E&P company. We currently run 5 drilling & workover rigs and produce over 40,000 bopd.
Ø Develop and maintain Project Schedule
Ø Development of plans for maintenance activities and minor projects works and
Ø Convert Scheduling System from MS Project to P6
Ø Performing baseline schedule maintenance and control
