I am in charge of digital communications at Profactaplan, a project controls company that specialises in project planning.

I do a lot of research on the industry and its trends. What the problems are that the different industry professionals face with regards to project controls, be it project managers, project planners, projects directors etc.

I am also part of a group that develops training in the project controls field.

My main aim is to fuel conversations in project controls, because that's where a lot of the solutions to our industry's problems will come from.

Senior Planning Engineer

1. In charge of bidding documentation submission;

2. Review Project Execution Plan and Project Planning & Progress Control Procedure;

3. Review the Level 3 schedule for bidding projects, sometimes also need to prepare Level 4 or Level 5 schedule as Clients's requirements;

4. Review utilization plan for large equipment and facilities;

5. Review and check manpower histogram

6. Update the planning documentation when new clarification issued;

2015 - Present               DANGOTE “FERTILIZER PROJECT”

• Fertilizer Plant for the Production of 7,700 MTPD of Granulated Urea, (two trains with a production capacity of 3,850 metric tons each per day) in the Nigeria. The lump sum contract encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction for a total value of approximately $1 billion.

• EPC basis Erection of Cracker Furnace Package and Composite Works for Gas Cracker Unit for Petrochemical Complex – II, Gas Authority of India Limited, Uttar Pradesh, India.

2008 -2010                    HMEL “Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project”

• CDU/VDU, DHDT & NHT/CCR Heaters Works

EPC Project with In- House Engineering and successful completion of heaters with commissioning assistance to the client.

Main activities:

Supervise and guide project planning team as well as devise plans of up to 106 Projects per year from Cradle to Grave both short term projects ranging from 3-9 months and longer term projects up to 7 years.
