BNFL Magnox Reprocessing Plant, Sellafield, Cumbria.

Creating and developing Primavera P3 (Ver 3.0) programmes, ‘S’ Curves and histograms for Project work to be carried out before, during and after plant shutdowns. The projects are multi-disciplined and due to the nature of the plant processes, require specialized procedures to be observed.

Working as part of a maintenance, project and turnaround planning team. Preparing work scope documents, P3 programmes, work orders, requisitions and compiling bid packages for sub-contractor work. Using SAP to generate work orders and requisitions also reserve materials retained on stock for turnaround use. Conversion of previous turnaround project programmes from MS Project to P3 ver. 3.1. Teaching other planners how to carry out conversions and instructing them in the use of P3.

     Preparing a package database of offsite plant.

     Preparing a database of all punches and records of all items relevant each package to sign off.

     Making the plan to sign off all punches relevant of each package based on MC Book priority.

     Preparing master WBS & schedule .

     Preparing contract schedule for each contract E, P or C and getting detail schedule based on it.

     Tracking overall schedule and compare with contractor’s tasks.

     Addressing delays and area of concerns.

     Taking the physical progress from each department and compare with the sub-contractors reports and Updating progress in P3.1.

     Maintaining of / tracking with Progress Measurement System (PMS).

     Preparing the overall schedule.

     Auditing the contractor proposed detail schedule to meet overall schedule.

     Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.

     Preparing and executing of 3 week look ahead plan and related reports and feedbacks.

Currently, HPA is the Manageing Contractor on the Medupi and Kusile Power Stations.
I am the Lead Planner on site for the Medupi Project..
