Mr. Livengood assisted the design-build team in monitoring progress and assisting in negotiating claim resolution for such items as steel price differential, differing site conditions and design changes. The LEED® building was eventually completed in a close working relationship with the GSA.

John Livengood is a Managing Director of Navigant Consulting, Inc.’s Global Construction Practice. Mr. Livengood is an experienced claims expert with more than 37 years of construction related experience. He is a registered architect and an attorney experienced in construction litigation, project management, design analysis, and document preparation.

Claim Management

• Create Analysis of Critical & Longest path network
• Create Time Impact Analysis (EoT)
• Prepare/create partial contractual time claims based on delays derived from subcontractor’s Schedule.
• Prepare general time claims based on contractual Schedule approved by the Client/Investor.
• Prepare time claims based on baseline and updated schedule (EoT).
• Prepare financial claims based on partial and general time claims.
• Support in Adjudication, Conciliation, Arbitration or Litigation

Senior Planning Consultant with a team of 8 planners for the NMOQ New Museum of Qatar ($435 Million facility) during the Engineering, Procurement Construction and Commissioning phases covering all Earthworks, Civils, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Scada works. Responsibilities includes developing of master schedule, critical path analysis and impact of progress and scope changes on previously scheduled target dates, delay Analysis and Forensic Planning.
