• Apprentice Project Planner (2 years)

The Project Planner will provide planning and administrative support for one or more projects.



• Lead planner on the final 2 years of a £325 million Captor Radar Project.

• Lead planner on the final year of £120 million Laser Warner Project.

• Assisted in the production of the project reporting pack, including the CSR, Resource Profile and Cash Flows.

• Worked with project managers, work package managers and senior planners to produce fully resourced multi level project plans using Artemis Planning tool.

Current Role

To provide assistance in preparation of Work Breakdown Structures.
· Generate and maintain multi-level programme plans and schedules, using the Primavera toolsets (and sometimes Microsoft Project).
· Collate data relating to progress against the schedule, and perform Estimate to Complete (ETC) exercises.
· To produce, maintain and consolidate Resource Load Forecasts (including Programmes, Prospects, Bids, Private Venture and overhead bookings) on a monthly basis.
· Produce load charts for skill types and individuals in Engineering, so that overloads and underloads can be managed
