Hyundai was the main contractor for the engineering and construction of the Four Seasons Hotel, a 30+ storey building in Cairo built on an area of 7500 sq.m. I joined the company as a planning and control engineer, member of a planning team responsible for the detailed scheduling and the progress monitoring & reporting. After a year and a half with the company, I was given the responsibility to prepare the Monthly Progress Invoice to the Client. I participated as a team member in the calculation and analysis of the time impact due to variations and claims.

Turner is the Program Manager for Dar Al-Arkan, a leading real estate development company; Turner’s role is to manage the Client’s projects across Saudi Arabia and to develop his organization and management procedures. The PM Core Team is the team responsible for the management of the pre-construction stages of the projects and the development of the Client’s management procedures, in addition to overseeing the construction of the projects, which is directly managed by separate site teams.

Joined Arup as Project Controls Manager on Arup Major Projects (AMP). AMP is a business sector in Arup responsible for management of major projects; their scope of services cover Strategic Management, Programme Management and Project Management. I was assigned by AMP to lead the project controls for a number of projects on Al Raha Beach Development, where Arup stood as the Lead Engineer for the iconic Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre, the twister tower of Asymptote, Aldar Headquarters building, and a mixed use development designed by 5+Design. My role covers the following:

Current Role

Planning Manger for the Mivan-Kier Joint Venture in Romania.
Located in Bucharest and resposible for all planning and production control measures on both current projects and tenders.
Responsible for the recruitment, management and training of 2 local Planning engineers.
Oversaw planning control of Liberty Center Bucharest 1st mall to be built in Romania and open on time within budget.
Currently engaged in pre construction tender planning activities.

The key experiences that I gained during this time is as follows:



•     Project Planning and Co-ordination for NHPC TEESTA HYDRO POWER PROJECT in west Bengal. Analysis of DPR’s MPR’s and also co-ordination with mechanical department in regarding solution of plant and machinery problems for effective project management.

SPIE Matthew Hall provide multi technical and support services from initial mechanical and electrical design, through installation, commissioning to long term maintenance and facilities management.



Crystal Palace NSC is one of the largest sports centres in the country. Housed in a Grade II listed building it is one of six national centres operated for Sport England. Works to this building are as followed:

Morgan EST Programme Management Services is a new business unit which supplies recourses who specialise in either Planning, Risk, Procurement, Programme Management to new or existing projects which want to implement new effective project controls to ensure successful project delivery.



I was assigned the Paddington Span 4 Renewals project which was the refurbishment of a grade 1 listed barrelled roof. I was tasked to interrogate the working and BL programme and write a report of my findings highlighting critical issues, solutions and benefits of changing existing practices.
