Hi all,

We have just migrated to SAP Business By Design, and I am struggling to download Actuals Labour sts and Material/Expense Costs into PS8. Im currently doing this manually by hand, and its not a small task, trust me.

We used to do this in the old ERP system via an MS Access database, but now Im struggling.

Any ideas how I can download Prject Costs, per task from an EXL file?

Thank you kindly.

Sciforma: a nice product, but I believe there is a huge deficiency in CPM calculations

Forums

I haven't looked at Sciforma in several years, but when last I did, both it and its Scitor PS predecessors were very nice products.  Out-of-the-box, I definitely think it is a better product than MS Project. Of course, so too were Microplanner and several other competitors in that market niche.

PS8 vs PSNext vs Sciforma

Forums

Hello all,

I have been using Project Scheduler (aka Project Scheduler Network in France because PS here is the acronym for "Parti Socialiste") since 1991.

My opinion is that Project Scheduler always was far ahead of Microsoft Project; when the editor Scitor (now Sciforma) released PS8 and PC-Inform in 2001, it was the first step toward intelligent timesheets allowing the resources to enter their actual hours and the planner to update his project without entering the same data once again.
