Handling multiple projects

N
Num Lock 👤 Member for 19 years 7 months

Hi, good day to you all. I'm currently handling 3 projects as a Planning Engineer. Is this ok? One of the projects I handle has only 1 program comprising of around 500 activities each but the other 2 has many small sub-programs which has typical templates, one has 20 programs and counting the other has 7 programs and counting.

Is it ethical to refuse another Project that will comprise of 500 activities? I don't want to handle more projects other than the 3 I started. How many project are you guys handling at the same time? What do you advise to me?

Thank you.

Contract Administrator - Myanmar

M
Mike Testro 👤 Member for 20 years 5 months

Hi all

My company have just won a sizeable project in Myanmar and are considering engaging a site based contracts administrator.

The position requires long experience of administering all contractual aspects including timely issue of notices and maintaining site records.

It requires a hard nosed attitude to face the Chinese engineer / administrator and ensure that all Contractor's entitlements are maintained and secured.

Fluent English is essential.

Anybody interested should send me a private message so we can exchange details off the forum.
