Any Advise would be greatly appreciated.
The project I have in mind is a 3 storey house with a basement. I am considering different options for the foundation types as I am managing the project myself and I am trying to find the most cost effective solution for a foundation to include a basement at the site.
I have this issue:
The project is currently incurring delays due to delay in issuance of the client of the required drawings. That's given. We have not assessed yet (final assessment) the impact. However, we received the letter from the contractor claiming for the mandays specifically for draftsmen, lost due to this delay. I cannot find in the contract anything mentioning about this.
1) Should we consider assessing this?

I have a client that only has Primavera P3e and as I have Primvavera P6 version 2 is it possible to send the plan from P6 to P3e.
I was thinking of Exporting it to a suitable file location and then for the client to then use P3e to Import the plan in from this.
Any ideas

This is my first request for your thoughts on below matter:
Our Contract is based on 4th edition of FIDIC 1987 as further amended in 1992. Broad changes made by way of Conditions of Particular Applications. It’s a re-measurement contract.
I'd like to get some discussion going on the pros and cons of the different types of contracts that are available, e.g. Lump sum fixed price, remeasurement contracts, reimbursible contracts, cost plus contracts etc. What are the client drivers for selecting a particular contract type and what are the pitfalls and advantages for both the client and contractor? I am particularly interested in the owner/client perspective with respect to risk and reward split.

I understand that size & complexity of project and the level of service provided will be influensing factors, but is there a rule of thumb maybe in relation to the number of project managers. 1PP to 1 PM or 1PP tp every 2 PMs maybe?

calculation with the contract value for getting manhours ..
