I have a problem with one of my program (Updated Program), I want to use it as a revised baseline. The issue is project finish date is 24-Jan-2019,
but when i check the activity usage spreadsheet, Cost loaded in the Preliminaries activity (LEVEL OF EFFORT) is extending upto MAR 2019. Cost is loaded as expense based on the requirement from the client.
Preliminaries activity is using a 7 days calendar

I received these comments regarding program narrative from client.
"The Narrative shall define the strategy of how the Supplier will execute/implement the project including but not limited to; logic used in programme, calendar to be used, interface with third parties, risks that could impact the programme, logistic process, delivery, etc.. (Executive Summary)."
Can anyone please share any sample templates for the report.

Hi all,
I currently work at a company where, as of September, there is no longer going to be a requirement for a planner within the company (that planner being me!). Myself and several other colleagues in Project Controls will leave the company due to enforced redundancies.
The impact of this is that our Primavera will be "switched off" but part of my handover before leaving is to allow engineers to do some of their own scheduling and, ideally, the resource management/loading that Primavera obviously provides.

I am struggling with Primavera to Copy Paste a schedule. When I select paste once schedule is copied, I do not have the option to select Summary Data, when I then select ok I recieve an error that reads Item not found and it gives me an Ok button to select. Once I select Ok I am on the Copy WBS Options box, but do not have the option to select the activities block. Once I select Ok I again recieve the same error that reads Item not found. No activities copy over at all.
Does anybody have an idea how I can correct this issue?

Due to policy, our contractor can not create custom calenders. However, due to the nature of the worksite (railway), activities can only occur on certain days.
So my question is. How do you create a programme with correct total float. As using a 7 day calender for an activity that can only occur for example, every 4th weekend give a false float number
They have create a number of milestones for the 'key weekends' SS with the activity. However if you update the programme, you need to then link to the 'next week' should the work not have finished

Hi All! I would like to know your opinions about the following workflow:
1. planning with user story mapping, slicing out releases and sprints
I represent a client that specifically requires limited use of lag if used at all. I have a situation where the contractor chose to delay a series of activates to improve the schedule. The schedule includes several buildings each could be considered a “phase” but the terminology is not in the contract. When I analyzed the schedule I found that to move these activities the contractor used a 150 day lag in a FS predecessor relationship. Their reasoning behind this was that there were no other logical predeccessors to tie to. This occurred in 4 different areas/buildings.

Can some one tell me if you can earn on partial milestones? For example if I'm using the rules of credit below, can I earn 20%? ( in this case inital engineering is almost complete)
Start 10%
Initial Engineering 30%
Engineering Review/Check 60%
Final Updates 90%
Issue & Filing 100%
