Resource Leveling

I am working in release 8.2 and can not seem to get resource leveling to work. I have a 28K activity schedule with most of the activities resource loaded. I have set resource limits but can not seem to get the schedule to push activities based on my resource limits. What are the proper steps to level out my resources based on my limits and making activities stretch or crunch based on these limits? Thanks

PREPARING THE SCHEDULE

Dear All,

Need some opinion on how to deal situation of preparing the schedule.

After how many times i made changes because of project manager decision, I have finished preparing the program . 

Now again PM wants some changes, and he mentioned some dates he wanted the activity to start, instead of following the link P6 has given. 

Now I am facing this headache as I have more projects to do. 

Is the project manager right for the decision? 

How about my situation what should I do?

Cost Entering in Schedule

Hello Everybody,

I have only BOQ & Mile Stones and we have not seggregated the Cost into seperate resources.

Now i want to enter the cost as per the mile stones for Tracking Purpose.

So, Can anybody help in this regard like assisgning only BOQ rates for the activities or need to enter the individual resources?

Equipment Relocation Schedule

Dear all,

My project is an R&D center, and now as the construction is almost reaching the final stage. the planning for Lab Equipment relocation is now in motion. my boss wants me to create a P6 schedule of the whole lab Equipment relocation. but i am at lost,  i only have an Excel Sheet sent to me with thousands of equipment/chemical/consumable/office ware/ raw material with name, departments, responsible people,etc. also an estimated relocation period with the standard steps, like dismantle, shipment, install, commissioning and run. here are my confusions:
