Here's a place to discuss some Primavera Enterprise questions
Hi all!
We are using Primavera Professional R8.2 for long time. But we have problem about export. When we try to export excel file it gives:
"An application event has been intercepted. Please note the event code for reference. Event code 1917-3"
When try to export as xml or project file it does not give error message. But the created file always becomes empty - 0 Kb size.
I need your support about this.

Just a doubt regarding resource allocation. If we have a Resource which is common throughout the project or throughout a WBS say like,
Mr. zoltan, I have prepared a schedule in primavera. That comprises a start mile stone, finish mile stone and in between these two mile stones there are 7 WBS having 4 activities each. Calender is 24X7 hrs. And all relationship type are finish to start.
I am wondered that after scheduling all my ghant chart bars are showing Red- red every where, i.e. entire project appears to be in critical path.
All activities are in FS relationship.
I think its wrong. Can you find the mistake ?
Does anyone know how P6 creates the decimal delineated WBS number. It is not exported in a column that can be quickly referenced and I'm looking to recreate it for reporting purposes.
EXAMPLE: the project number is 1234567, and a child WBS is 1234567.1, how is this number created? As these numbers do not exist in the .xer export.

I am updating a project in primavera.I need to present schedule % and performance % in the WBS of activities. But it is always showing zero, though the activity sch.% and performance% are rolling up with the update.
Need a guidance.

is there any ways/methods to determine monthly plan % ??

I have desined model of activity codes in excel and now need to import it to P6 instead of add every code and value one by one (i have more than 600 values). The question is is there any way to import it?
