Data date: you can use the 1st of month every month, does not matter if falls on Sundays etc correct?
Hello everyone, I am facing a problem in resource leveling. After completion the scheduling, I faced with overallocation. As a result, i defined priority and used leveling, but unfortunately no change is happened. anybody has idea what could be the reason? Thanks

Is there a method to make a copy from Oracle Database (Schema) and reconfigure it in case of any issues in the original database (Schema) ?

I am operating in the following corporate environment:
P6 Professional v20.12; Citrix hosted; SQL database; don't know database size but projects add up to 4.5 million activities.
The issue I have is that when I select certain menu items in the Activities window (typically Group and Sort, Columns, Bars) there is a delay of about 7 seconds before the popup box appears.
In other windows (Projects, WBS, Resource Assignments) it operates normally.
Oracle's Knowledge Base does not seem to have any information on the issue.
I like my term for this "Resource Referencing" - I think it is better because there is never enough time, what do you think of this method?

When I add a new activity, duration is not 5 but 4.4days.
This issue is obviously coming from the calendar because it has been modify to 8h/day instead of 7h.
This is not a global but a project Calendar.
I checked my Project settings calendar for new activities by default and it is the one needed : 8h/day.
I checked the calendar parameters and it is correctly filled with 8hours in the workweek or in the timeperiods tables.
If a contractor asks for an interpretation of this, what do you say? (other than - just do it) Contractor must calculate the number of weather days using NOAA data set for the most recent 10 year period. Put on your lawyer hat and answer them when they ask if they can use something else or do something else. I don't see too many contractors doing this...
