VBA 2003 to 2010

F
Fabian Breu 👤 Member for 14 years 7 months

Hi

Tilll now i used the following macro to copy custom field content from the task tabelle to the assigment tabelle. So when i save the project it copy text5 from the gantt chart to text5 field in the ressource usage view.

This macro does not work in MS Project 2010. If i save the file als 2003 version it works more or less. It only works if delete the contant in text5 in the ressource usage and then save.

Baselines on MSP

J
John Kelly 👤 Member for 14 years 10 months

Hi Guys,

Question and apologies if this is an easy one.  i have 7 updated MSP programmes for a project, December through to June.  The Critical Path is through the same section of works for each month.  I want to set the previous month as the basline for each month and also maybe set December as the Baseline for June to show As Planned Vs As built.

Using rolling average for data cleaning / remove outliers

Hi Guys,

I have a set of data which has daily and seasonal cycle and expands over ten years. I need to remove erroneous values using the rolling average of 5 pints at a time +/- 3 standard deviations. I might end up using more points for the rolling average (maximum of 24 values which represent the whole day) till I get something that just eliminates the wrong values. Also the +/- 3 standard deviations might be replaced by +/- 2 standard deviations as it suites my work.

Critical Path on Complete Project

J
John Kelly 👤 Member for 14 years 10 months

Hi Guys & Gals

Quick question, does anyone know how i can find what the 'driving' activities are for a programme that is essentially complete? I have a programme that is marked up as complete (all activities are 100%) and i am trying to establish whats was driving the project completion, i have tried to trace the logic back but some activities have numerous predecessors making it very time consuming.

The 'Task Driver's function doesn't seem to work when the programme is effectively complete nor does the 'Critical Path' filter?

sheduling consective tasks with a must start directly after previous task

HI, does anyone have any fixes which would allow me to create a link or constraint which would hold two tasks together so that wherever they were scheduled they would stay together, ie if task one is scheduled for monday and lasts one day task two must start on tuesday or vice versa if task two was scheduled for a tuesday task one must be scheduled for monday. The logical sequence is obviously there but when you resource level there is nothing to group them together. I know it sounds simple but it aint
