Good morning everyone,
I would like to link the Percent Complete to the Progress Period so that when I am looking at each Progress Period, the Percent Complete entered will reflect that Progress Period. This relationship is present with the Progress Period dropline, so that if I display ultiple Progress Period droplines, they reflect the percentages I entered for the period. But once I enter progress into Percent Complete, this value in the spreadsheet doesn't change when alternating between Progress Periods.
Is there anyway to do this?
I've recently been asked to take over a team of Planners by my boss however the team are using Microsoft Project whereas the rest of the company uses P6.
Having used P6 for 11 years I'm not new to Planning but am completely new to Microsoft Project and have had no training.

To explain, I’m currently working on an assignment for class. And every time I click the file tab to go to the print option, it always crashes. Which on the file name it would say ”(not responding)” beside it.

I have a task under MSProject which corresponds to an action whose duration does not depend on the number of resources.
I would like to integrate resources on this task gradually.
On the first day, 2 resources are on the task, 3 more the next day, 1 more the following week and so on.
How do you model this rampup in the allocation of resources to a single task?
If I add a resource in the gantt, it arrives directly on the first day of the task.
Formula editor shows error with correct formula Greetings. I am writing for the following reason, my copy of MS Project fails when trying to add a formula in a numeric custom field specifically the "Number 2". I tried several times without achieving anything, even modifying the original formula.

I'm managing several project schedules all of which have the milestone task GoLive. I want to be able to capture the date into a movie date column I've created. Is there a way to do this via a formula or other method?
