Dear Friends,

We’re currently beta testing our new community portal. Rather than delay access while we test and retest behind the scenes, we chose to go live and evolve in real time. We hope that was the right call—and we truly appreciate your patience, encouragement, and kind words along the way.

If you encounter any bugs, issues, or frustrations, please don’t hesitate to share them directly with [email protected]. Your feedback is essential as we continue to refine and improve the experience for everyone.

Post ID number

  • Post ID/comment number is not fixed but every time a new post is creater the number 1 is re-assigned to last entry.
  • This makes it hard/impossible to make reference to a prior post using a simple ID number.
  • It wold be better if the post number at the top right is assigned in order of creation and never changed.

This is something I have asked before but no action was ever taken, is there any reason why PP does not consider it an improvement?

Applying for Jobs through PP

Hi all,

Im curious to know if someone could explain how to apply for the jobs advertised in the 'Jobs' section. Do I need to be a premium member or part of the Guild or Certified? As I cannot see a method of actually applying for the jobs or a link to where to apply.

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask but I have emailed the admin over a week ago with the same question and the last time I emailed the admin it took 4 months for a reply.

Spam and PP

spam - irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients.

Recently the amount of spam at PP has increased.  I believe the main reason is because PP is allowing anyone to register.  The amount of spam should decrease if PP Admin enforce some rules as to prevent undesirable actors to keep posting irrelevant or inappropriate messages and to protect PP reputation.

I suggest:

My post description & search function

S
Safwan H. 👤 Member for 10 years 10 months

Hi,

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but under my post rather than having 'Description' ('None' is placed for each post so far) could you place the thread title instead. It'd be handy as a shortcut to a thread you have contributed in.

Also, maybe a sort function with the search function - newest to oldest, etc

Thanks,
Safwan

Text formatting in iOS safari not respected.

S
Steven Auld 👤 Member for 8 years 8 months

Not sure why, but for some reason, the text formatting is not working when adding comments from safari on an iPhone.
In order to have carriage returns included in the saved post I am having to manually add the < br > tag to get a line break.
This is not an issue on the desktop (when using chrome anyway).
I am not using any other formatting, but this drives me nuts having to do it manually.
Anyone else have this issue?
Steven (and yes I did use carriage returns when typing this, just not manually tagged)

What are the main differences between a Forum and a Blog?

  • Because Blogs and Forums are under separate tab and have a different layout there must be some reason and purpose for this.  Perhaps is how postings are moderated but I do not want to speculate, better if PP Admin tells me.
  • No matter what the reason and how they are managed the interface might be improved if ease of navigation is improved. I find Forums easy to navigate and better organized, on the other hand Blogs are all under same heading with no sub-heading making it harder to navigate.
