Progress Planned and Achieved by Code

Is it possible to do the following?

I have a construction programme that has builders elements, electrical elements and plumbing elements. The programme has been baselined. I do a dropline each week inputting percentages achieved. This gives me the planned and achieved percentages for the programme as a whole. What I would like is to split out the builders planned and achieved, the electrical planned and achieved and the plumbing planned and achieved.

Asta Project Viewer

Hi,

I've received a copy of a Powerproject schedule and have been trying to locate a download of the Asta Project Viewer, but every link I find cannot locate the download on the Asta website.

Have Asta withdrawn this software? If so, is there any way the data can be extracted to another format suitable for importing into a MS Project file (or just as a csv or xls format file) without having a copy of Asta poweproject?

Many thanks.

Planned Percent Complete on WBS Summary Bars

B
Ben Jewell 👤 Member for 21 years 1 month

Hi,

I am trying to find a way to display planned percent complete on WBS summary bars but cannot get it so show.

The 'Percent Complete' is being calculated and shown and although all the tasks within my programme are showing their individual 'Planned Percent Complete' (where applicable) there is nothing shown in the WBS summary tasks.

I have messed around with the settings for the data being used (live, current baseline etc.

Changing format in Text Annotations

C
Craig Adams 👤 Member for 19 years 7 months

Hello Fellow Asta travellers,

Anyone know how to change percentage complete if using overall percent complete in text annotations to show % instead of default two decimal places.

Am pointing to overall percentage which by default has two devcimal places, then changed this and refreshed view - annotation did not change.

Whilst on this, is there somewhere were we can set default to no decimal places for all??

Thankyou in anticipation!

Can you copy views from one programme to another.

S
Sam Wiggins 👤 Member for 18 years 3 months

I am trying to copy a view from one programme that I have spent a fair bit of time setting up to a number of other programmes for projects that are allready underway. Is there an easy way to do this or do i hve to go through the long process of reformatting the view in each one.

Thanks in advance
