Assigned involved rollout and refinement of best practice from NDUP for all aspects of Project Controls. Laterly involved in forensic analysis and claim preparation activities.

Responsible for the strategic planning for the Cooling the Tube initiative, a complex £912 million programme comprising a large number of innovative design, engineering and environmental projects. Led constructive challenge to key project information, which was important to enable assurance to the Project Director and Sponsors within project investment and governance arrangements. Since 1990 Paul has worked in a wide range of consultancy assignments in the role of Programme Controls Manager. Key rail assignments with Transport for London (TfL) / London Underground include the Victoria Line Upgrade project, Cooling the Tube programme and the Prestige project to design and supply the ‘Oyster’ contactless smartcard system for London covering tube, trains, buses and trams along with significant roles at THALES.
