2007-2008            NATS Business – Business Portfolio Management – Planner

Responsible for the planning of the NATS Business Portfolio Investment for the duration of the Investment period.  Duties of the role included:-

¨        Ensuring all major inter-related dependencies were captured, tracked and reported on a monthly basis to the Manager of NATS Portfolio Management. 

2005-2007            NATS Swanwick and West Drayton Programme – Lead Planner

2003-2005                            NATS Military Systems - Department Project Planning – Project Control

Took over the role of Planning Lead for the Division Liaising directly with the Head of Division and all staff.  Responsible for creation, generation and monthly reporting of Divisional metrics.  Responsible for all Project Planning for the Division

Air Traffic Control infrastructure long-term investment programme

Managed a team of 8 planners of varying capability, some requiring coaching

Ensured project management standards were implemented across the programme, planning, resource management and reporting, risk, dependencies etc.

Creation PBS/WBS/OBS, MSP and SAP planning architecture, merging/rollup/inter-linking of projects in line with agreed governance processes

Standardised reports, earned value analysis, resource profiles, cost analysis, resource and cost trend analysis

Monitored project expenditure against operating and capital budgets and advise of variances
