Project Coordinator / Planning Engineer based at Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, Shetland Islands contracted to BP
Reporting to the senior project manager - Pipe Inspection Project
Weekly update and distribute (to management, key personnel, BP planner and representatives) offshore construction and onshore engineering plans (6 week, 12 week, 6Q lookaheads, along with the relevant histograms)
Monthly reporting to management (gantt charts / manhour summaries / histograms / productivity figures)

I have gained a vast experience in Planning over the past 35 years covering many areas within the various industries working on Major Projects including Design Feed, EPC contracts, LNG, Oil & Gas, Refinery Petro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Commissiong & Start Up and Offshore Projects both in the Norwegian sectors & the Middle East, Qatar, Al-Khobar Saudi Arabia & Russia

Current Role
Responsible for overseeing subsea planning aspects, interrogating the subcontractor’s schedule and translating data to Management.
Key Achievements:
• Reviewed contractors schedule for compliance and accuracy of the agreed scope.
• Created an innovative planning audit procedure and format, requiring conducting audits on sub-vendors in order to verify the integrity of the planning system in operation.
• Established progress measures to track the accuracy of the contractor schedule.
Planning for BP’s Forties platforms utilising Terroman which was BP’s own planning package.
