Contract Planning on various building contracts including:-
- Carrara House, Embankment - £3.5m refurbishment including construction of two additional storeys on existing 5 storey building.
- Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge - £6.5m new build for NHS Trust, 5 single storey brick built blocks to house patients.
- 55 Tottenham Court Road, London - £10m demolition & new build for the London Transport Police – demolition of existing 1940’s RC 5 storey police station and construction of new Steel Frame, brick clad 6 storey police station and Marks & Spencer food market.
Involved in numerous claims and presentations to Clients.
Main Package used was Power Project version 5.
Design Build and Operate Joint Venture between Amey and Group 4 for the construction of a £65m 900-bed detention centre. The construction consists of strip foundations, modular steel frame units (3m x 15m), steel trusses with metal profile cladding. The services distribute within the roof spaces from pre-fabricated plant rooms and feed to the floors below via a series of service duct risers.
The contract had ten main ‘supply chain partners’ who designed & constructed their own works and actively contributed to the sequencing & technical aspects of the contract.
Position Held: Planning Manager – Responsible for all planning aspects of the contract, co-ordinating the supply chain programmes and production of long, medium and short term programmes; production of the fortnightly Client report; weekly progress updates of the master programme; monthly risk analysis & trend analysis; as-built records and diaries; EOT & claims. Line Manager to senior planner and two record engineers.
Main package used Pertmaster version 7 with risk.
