Project Cost Specialist/Eng. - MWH Americas, Inc. (MWH), Bellevue, WA - 2005

Michael provided cost engineering and design administrative support for engineering including the following projects:

  • City of Tacoma, Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade, Tacoma, WA – he developed a resource loaded work plan for upgrade from 38 mgd to 60 mgd.  Michael assisted the design team with development of schedule and work plan for the $1.5 million design effort. He worked closely with project manager and design staff to identify design phase activities and input manpower for work scope, sequence activities, and deliverables.
  • Grant County Public Utility District, Priest Rapids - Wampum Dam Piezometer Installation, Grant County, WA - field supervisor for installation. Michael supervised one of the drill sites on the side of the dam. This was a $1.5 million contract.
  • Oroville Dam, Northern California – Michael prepared economic analysis model for finance bond. The economic analysis was $36.5 million for Oroville Facilities Relicensing - Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Project No. 2100.  He was responsible for revising analysis of NEPA document preparation specifically on net present value numbers.
  • Lakehaven Sewer District, Wastewater System Improvements, Federal Way, WA – Michael developed a baseline resource loaded progress schedule for comprehensive sewer plan.
  • Alderwood Water and Wastewater District, Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, Lynnwood, WA – Michael developed a resource loaded work plan for four-year construction phase.
  • King County, Bellevue Pump Station, Bellevue, WA – Michael developed a resource loaded work plan for a two-year construction phase.
